- I too contacted this individual about a 40 Mhz 040 chip. I sent him my
- Phone # to be contacted at. He gave me the above phone number on my
- answering machine(518-448-6022), and I contacted him back with the fact
- that the phone number was to an unrelated business and to please provide
- a phone number he can be reached at. All I have heard back is silence...
-
- WARNING. The message he has left on my answering machine(which I have saved)
- sounds to me like scam artist sales pitch. If you deal with this individual,
- I would strongly reccomend you deal on a COD basis(sending a certified
- check if you are buying from him, or COD cash only if you are selling to
- him). That way you will be optimally protected(by the time the
- individual gets the COD certified check you will have been able to check
- out the goods, and if unsatisafactory you will be able to go to your bank
- and place a 'hold' on the certified check-though it may cost some
- money<does for my bank>, but heck better to be out $20 than a couple of
- hundred)
